Locals claim that their total number exceeds 500 and is one of the largest concentrations of free horses in Europe! The waters of Amvrakikos are filled with dozens of boats, while locals and visitors enjoy a unique event, with great melodies, as well as an impressive spectacle with many fireworks! <\/p>\n<p>Every first Sunday of August in the evening, Varkarola floods the &#8220;nymph of Amvrakikos&#8221;
